Preparation

  • Ensuring that the room where you are recording in a quiet location and we will provide you with basic tips to help make you recording clean without any echo or reverb
  • We will provide you with comprehensive guidance and instructions on how to record your audio files
  • Show you the best practices on microphone technic
  • If you make a mistake that fine simply keep the recording going give yourself 5-sec pause before starting the sentence again and A handy tip is to use a dog training clicker this help in the editing process.
  • If you plan to change the tone of your voice to any quotes highlight these to assist with the recording process.

Industry Standards

  1. Consistent in overall sound and formatting.
  2. All Recordings must be with a human voice - No Text to speech program
  3. Recorded must be saved in Wav 44,100Hz and recorded in Mono file for editing
  4. No Chapter or Section to be more than 80 minutes long
  5. Each Chapter / Section must contain an announcement at the beginning of each recording

  • Exactly 2400 pixels x 2400 pixels (H x W) - a perfect square (for square covers)
